We, at the Lunenburg Inn B&B, hope you'll feel at home in our beautifully restored, classic Victorian-style Inn located on the edge of the World Heritage Site of Old Town Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Lunenburg Inn is a registered Heritage Property (circa 1893). Selected as one of America's Favorite Inns, B&B's and Small Hotels. Canada Select 4.5 Stars.

We take great pride in our guest suites, service and the attention to detail. We'll start your day off with a complimentary full breakfast. Today it could be poached eggs, one of our breakfast casseroles, Blueberry Pancakes, or perhaps French Toast with Maple Syrup. All breakfasts are served with seasonal fruit, home baking & preserves.

Old Town Lunenburg and Area - As one of Nova Scotia's most historic and beautiful towns, Lunenburg's colourful waterfront, narrow streets and captivating architecture are all under a 5 minute walk from The Lunenburg Inn.

From our front step walk, jog or cycle the 3 kilometre [6k return] trail created from Lunenburg's former rail line, hugging the Back Harbour to return through the historic streetscapes of "Old Town". Here you will discover craft shops, art galleries along with fine restaurants and coffee shops. Located harbourside is the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and if in port, our pride, the sleek Bluenose II. Whale watching, sailing and harbour tours are all available from the town's waterfront.

Within easy driving distance are some of Nova Scotia's finest white sand beaches - Kingsburg, Hirtles, Rose Bay, take a fishing excursion from the quaint fishing villages of Blue Rocks and Stonehurst or meander along the shore toward Mahone Bay or back to Riverport and down the LaHave River Valley.

So much to see and do in all seasons. Spring and Winter offer a chance to see our historic buildings without being obscured by filled out trees and shrubs, coupled with an extremely temperate climate. Summer holds promise of warm nights perfect for cruising the bays, rivers and lakes and our Festivals - NS Folk Art Festival, Folk Harbour Festival, Craft & Street Fest. Fall is truly a special time in Nova Scotia, warm days, cool nights as well as spectacular colours make cycling, hiking, beachcombing, kayak & canoeing a pleasure.
