The 'Anchorage' circa 1850, has been the home of charm and hospitality for over 90 years, standing proudly on Hubbards Cove it was built by owners of a local lumber company over 150 years ago. The house has maintained its quiet dignity and charm throughout the years, while undergoing major renovations and additions. An abundance of flowers, trees, shrubbery and grass form a beautiful setting for the big century home with its gables and wide wrap around veranda.

Centrally located on Nova Scotia's South Shore, the Anchorage is within easy reach of sandy beaches, well known fishing villages, antique and craft shops, lobster pounds, restaurants and golfing. Hubbards, has a central shopping area with a convenience store, liquor outlet, bank, hardware store, and supermarket, and also has a community library, medical center and post office, "ALL" your needs in one convenient location.

We are ideally situated to provide a base for exploring Nova Scotia's most beautiful coastline including the undiscovered Aspotogan Peninsula. Hubbards located on the scenic Lighthouse Route, is only 30 minutes from Halifax, Lunenburg, and Peggy's Cove, and the Annapolis Valley is less than an hour away. Hubbards is the summer home of many festive occasions, the "Anchorage" will give you convenient access as these events unfold.
