100 Acres and an Ox Country Inn, a Victorian reproduction, recognized by the Province of Nova Scotia for its excellence in design, was meticulously crafted in 1994 to capture the charm and the essence of the Victorian era architecture while ensuring the ultimate in modern amenities for each of our guests.

Our home is situated on 100 acres of lush forest, fields, orchards, and lakes. Walking trails will guide you to the water’s edge or lead you into a pristine forest. Sit in the shade, snug in our orchard or peacefully paddle the lake. All that defines Nova Scotia surrounds you - rolling green hills, blue waters, endless skies and stars, and incomparable sunsets.

Our beautifully appointed guest rooms, with private baths, are designed to replenish the spirit. A great book from the extensive “in-house library ”, a truly extravagant mattress and….”…ah sleep that knits up the unraveled sleeve of care…” (Shakespeare).
